During the past 12 years Delta Power Australia has grown to be a company with a significant standing in the market place for electrical switchgear and related products. Period contract supply agreements for SF6 gas insulated ring main unit distribution switchgear have been undertaken with some of Australia’s major electricity supply authorities. These contracts have seen the installation of more than 12,000 panels of switchgear in Australia and New Zealand as well as offshore countries.
The commercial and industrial use for the products of the company has seen projects associated with mining, industrial, shopping centres and airports completed.
The advent of wind farm technology created new opportunities for the company with supply of switchgear, cable terminations and cable clamping systems for wind turbines and the related power distribution methods. Delta Power Australia can deliver a complete switchgear package including cable terminations, HRC DIN fuse links, cable clamping and support systems, stainless steel weatherproof enclosures and concrete plinths.
In addition the company maintains a high profile in the sale and distribution of extra high voltage outdoor cable terminations, in line joints and plugs for GIS switchgear for voltages up to 550kV. A period supply contract is currently in place with one of Australia’s largest supply authorities. XLPE cables of size up to 2500sqmm can be terminated using these products.
The company employs fully trained staff with more than 55 years of experience in the many facets of the electrical industry but specializing in the voltage range 3.3-36kV.

In addition, a complete range of cable accessories including silicone rubber elbow connectors, indoor & outdoor terminations are available.
Delta Power Australia has designed a large range of Stainless Steel weather proof enclosures to suit most types of indoor switchgear for “STAND ALONE” installations i.e. switching stations. Concrete plinths & steel base frames are also available if required.
Major clients of the company include electricity supply authorities, electrical contractors, industrial & commercial establishments.
Significant projects & supply agreements completed or in progress include period supply contracts with several electricity supply authorities, supply of switchgear & cable terminations for wind farms & delivery of fully extensible switchboards for shopping centre complexes & airports. While most of the work has been within Australia the company has exported goods to China, Fiji, Brazil & New Zealand during the past eight years.
